Tucson Orienteering Club will be hosting an orienteering event Saturday, 18 January at Greasewood Park in Tucson, AZ.  This will be a Score-O style event with a 2 hour time limit.  There will be approximately 25 checkpoints located in the park and you will have 2 hours to find as many as you can.  This is a small park with typical Sonoran desert vegetation and a good trail network which makes it perfect for those new to orienteering or looking to get in some training before the South West Spring Week orienteering events in February.  The event center will be at the ramada near the parking lot.

Directions: From I-10 in Tucson take Speedway Blvd. west for 2.2 miles to Greasewood Road.  Turn left at Greasewood.  The entrance to Greasewood Park is the first road approach that you come to on the right.  The trip time from I-10 and Speedway to the event site is about 10 minutes.  Look for the orange and white orienteering signs.
